Please note that this version of the exam takes part in the Stay Current with SAP Global Certification program. This certification exam is recommended as an entry level qualification to participate in SAP Ariba Sourcing design and implementation projects. This certification proves that the candidate has an overall understanding and necessary technical skills to participate as a member of a project team in a mentored role. For details about the terms, refer to "Service items and service hierarchies" in About the Definitions tab (Item Definition templates).The "SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Ariba Sourcing" exam validates that the candidate possesses the fundamental and core knowledge required of the SAP Ariba Sourcing Associate Application Consultant profile. You can also add terms for service lines and service specifications in the template. The event template must have Service Line and Service Specification defined.
Your administrator can set this parameter in Ariba Administrator under Intelligent Configuration Manager Manage Configurations.
To roll up pricing of service hierarchies in alternative bids, the parameter Roll up term values in alternative bids () must be set to Yes. Have your designated support contact file a Case (SR) to enable this feature. The feature CUP-15731: Services hierarchy support in Sourcing and Contracts must be enabled on your site. You must be the event owner or have project owner capabilities for the event. Your site must have guided sourcing enabled and you must be a member of the Category Buyer group. The SAP Ariba Sourcing classic user interface also supports service hierarchies refer to Event service items and service hierarchies. This feature adds support in guided sourcing for service hierarchies. This feature is supported only in the guided sourcing user interface.
